From Darmstädter hut to Kartell hut at Kartellspeicher. Follow the signposts along Sepp-Jöchler trail all the way to Seßladjöchli at 2,749 metres above sea level. The first downhill section of the trail to Niederelbe hut is steep and banked. From there, the trail takes you down across scree and smaller snowfields to the hut.
