Description

From the Stripsenjochhaus in the Kaisergebirge the route leads slightly downhill to the Feldalmsattel, on the other side the path to the Hochalm rises leisurely. Now you follow the signs to the Hageralm and Walchsee: below the Rossk Kaiser you walk partly through flower meadows and through light woods, later over steep scree journeys and through mountain pines to the Hageralm.
If you feel like it, you can climb the Heuberg from here. If you prefer to continue straight down into the valley, follow the road through meadows and forest passages to the Lippenalm and further down to a car park. Now go north until you reach Walchsee, turn left and go into the village on the west side of the lake.
