Description

This hiking route starts either at the middle station of the Finkenberger Almbahnen or at the top station of the Penkenbahn. Hike from the top station of the Penkenbahn to the middle station of the Finkenberger Almbahnen, or vice versa.

Along the new created BergWaldWeg you can enjoy the idyllic landscape and the wonderful views of Mount Ahorn and Stilluptal opposite. Duration: about 1,5 hours (4,7 km)
 
Our tip: Take the Finkenberger Almbahn up to the Penkenjoch and take the PanoramaHikingPath Penken back to the Kombibahn Penken, which takes you back to the Penkenbahn. Or you can take the Finkenberger Almbahn to the valley station and take the bus (not included in the ticket price) back to Mayrhofen.
