Val d’Uina Schlucht
By car you first go to the valley station of the Watles cable car. From there take the chairlift to the mountain station. Route no. 8 leads along the Schliniger mountain trail to the Sesvenna hut at 2,256 m. Behind the hut, take Trail no.18 towards the Schlinigpass (2,308 m). Then across the Swiss border and down to the beautiful Uina Gorge. There is a rock path about 600 metres long that fascinates. Starting from the Sesvenna hut, the gorge can be reached in about an hour. There are three options for the way back: Either you follow the same route back to the Watles mountain station, or you hike to the village of Schlinig (1,860 m) and take the shuttle bus back to the valley station. The third option leads through the Val d’Uina to Sur En in Switzerland. From there, take the bus or taxi via Norbertshöhe back to Nauders.
