Verwallsee Circular Route via the Rosanna Gorge
Starting from the centre of St. Anton am Arlberg, this varied circular walk first leads towards the Rosanna Gorge. Along the unspoilt Rosanna, you can experience the power of the water and the impressive natural surroundings up close. Once at the top, the Verwall Valley opens up with numerous highlights, including the Legends Trail, the suspension bridge over the Rosanna and a breathtaking alpine landscape.
The main attraction of the tour is Lake Verwallsee, which stands out with its striking emerald-green colour. Around the lake, a large playground with barbecue facilities invites visitors to linger, while on the opposite side there is a landscaped pond with deckchairs and a spacious sunbathing lawn. The walk leads once around the idyllic lake before the Wagnerhütte offers the perfect place to stop for refreshments.
The return route first leads back out through the Verwall Valley and then down via the Moos to St. Anton. Those who would like to skip the return walk through the Verwall Valley can conveniently take the Verwall bus instead.
