One summit is more beautiful than the other - on this tour you have to decide for yourself which of the four box seats high above the Inn Valley is your favorite.
Mostly moderately difficult ridge hike with a technically difficult key section. Also demanding in terms of fitness due to the many meters in altitude. From the Halltal valley, the route climbs steeply westwards over the Rädermacher (1,499 meters) to the Hochmahdkopf (1,738 meters). This is followed by a less steep but technically difficult climb over the ridge to the Haller Zunterkopf (1,966 meters), the highest point of the tour with a wide view over the Inntal valley and the Halltal chain behind it. Between the two peaks lies the difficult section, a rocky terrain step that is secured by ropes. After the descent from the fourth summit, the Thaurer Zunterkopf (1,918 meters), and a visit to the "Kaisersäule", the Thaurer Alm is a good place to stop for refreshments. Return journey from the center of Thaur with buses 501/502/503.
Up a steep ascent to the Hochmahdkopf. From here we follow the ridge line to the Haller and further to the Thaurer Zunterkopf. From the Thaurer Zunterkopf, the descent to the Kaisersäule begins. After a stop at the Thaurer Alm, it goes down past the Romedikirchl to Thaur. From here, either back through the Thaur fields to the Halltal parking lot or comfortably back by bus.
Travel by bus 502 or 503 is possible to Eichat/Bettelwurfsiedlung, just below the Halltal parking lot
