Scenic route from Wiesing to Eben: 11.9km, 460m elevation gain. Allow ca. 2 hours for the ascent to Eben. The route offers beautiful views of the Inntal and Zillertal. Return is via the same route or by bus.
The tour starts from the parish church Wiesing. Follow the village road above the parish church through the Rofansiedlung residential area in the direction of Astenberg. The asphalt road ends after ca. 200 metres. At the fountain, turn left in the direction of the Panorama-Restaurant Kanzelkehre. The trail affords splendid views of Wiesing, the Inntal valley and the Zillertal valley. From the Panorama-Restaurant Kanzelkehre (896 metres), the Notburgaweg path climbs gently to the Notburga church in Eben am Achensee (964 metres). The return is via the same route, or by bus.
Take the regional bus (lines 4080 or 8332) to the village centre of Wiesing and get off at the "Wiesing Dorf" stop.
