Description

The starting point is the parking lot at Seestüberl (882 m), which is located on the east bank of the Hintersteiner See. From there, run along the road (No. 822) towards Pension Maier. It goes past the Sojerhof and the Goingstätt refreshment stop, then continue to Pension Maier, where you turn left shortly before that. Now you run along the south bank of the Hintersteiner See, the forest path alternately ascends and descends until you get back to the starting point, where the bathing area is located. Take a jump into the refreshing water to cool off.

  • Arrival by public transport

    Go to KaiserJet/Postbus stop “Scheffau Dorf”, then ride the hiking bus Hintersteiner See to “Seestüberl Strandbad”.
