Description

The Rote Kogel is a very popular ski tour summit in the rear Sellraintal, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience for experienced ski tourers. The ascent covers over 1,200 meters of elevation gain and stretches over 4 kilometers, with some sections being quite steep. The summit of Rote Kogel reaches an altitude of 2,832 meters, rewarding adventurers with breathtaking panoramic views. This moderately difficult tour requires good physical condition, but the stunning vistas and the sense of accomplishment at the summit make the effort worthwhile.
