Description

The tour starts in Haggen, directly behind the car park, and leads towards the Finstertal reservoir. The destination is the impressive Steintalspitze (2,743 m), which offers a magnificent view of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains.

This tour is the shortest ski tour in the Kraspestal valley - but by no means the easiest. After the initial ascent through the valley, you reach the impressive boulder glacier landscape of the Steintal, which gives the tour its name.

A very good ascent technique is required, especially in the first ‘Zwinge’, and crampons are usually indispensable here. The steep final slope also requires safe hairpin bends and experience in challenging terrain. This tour is therefore not suitable for beginners.
