On the winter hike around the Thierbacher Kogel, you can admire some t(h)ierian wooden works of art. Afterwards, you should definitely stop off at Gasthof Sollererwirt, which we consider to be one of the most beautiful traditional inns in the whole of Tyrol.
Medium-difficulty winter hike around the Thierbacher Kogel near Thierbach, which leads through quiet meadows and sparse forest sections of the Wildschönau and repeatedly offers wide views of the gentle mountain landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. The trail meanders comfortably around the Kogel with two small climbs. At the end of the loop, traditional inns such as the Sollererwirt or Gasthof Gradlspitz invite you to stop for refreshments.
If you want to go on an idyllic hike away from all the hustle and bustle, Thierbach is the place for you. The winter hike around the Thierbacher Kogel is suitable for the whole family.
There are several parking spaces at the church.
The hike starts here at the church. Pass the Mooshof farm and cross the road into the forest. The hiking trail meanders comfortably around the Kogel and there are always wonderful views of the gentle Wildschönau mountain landscape and the original Thierbach.
At the end of the tour, there is the opportunity to stop for refreshments - for example at Gasthof Gradlspitz or the traditional Gasthof Sollererwirt.
