Winter hike Aschauer Sonnseit winter circuit

Across snow-covered meadows along the Going 'sunny side' (Sonnseite).

Description

The Aschauer Sonnseit Runde starts at the Goinger Badesee. From the car park, the groomed path leads you to the Oberschattenriedhof, always with a view of the Kitzbüheler Horn.

From there, follow the prepared winter hiking trail to the left (parallel to the Aschauerloipe) until you reach the Aschauerweg. Once there, turn right and hike about 50 metres southwards along the paved road. You can take a short break at the Koasastadl before turning right onto the winter hiking trail.

Accompanied by the sun, you hike once more through the hamlet of Schattenried along the Aschauerloipe until you arrive back at the Badesee. On the way back, you can strengthen and warm yourself up at the Gasthaus Reischerwirt or the Koasastadl.
