Winter hiking trail at Brandstadl with magnificent panoramic views

Description

The winter hike starts at the car park of the Scheffau cable car. From there, take the gondola up to Brandstadl. Lift tickets are available directly at the cable car ticket office.

At the mountain station, the panoramic trail begins immediately on the right and follows a groomed winter hiking path. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of the snow-covered mountain landscape and the surrounding peaks.

The route passes the Brandstadl summit cross and several alpine huts before continuing uphill to the Südhangbahn chairlift. From there, return along the same route to the gondola and take it back down into the valley.

For refreshments, the Bergrestaurant Brandstadl is located directly next to the mountain station.
