Description

The start is at the Scheffau gondola car park, where you take the gondola lift up to Brandstadl (lift tickets are available directly at the mountain railway ticket office). Once you reach the top of the mountain, turn right immediately – the panoramic trail runs along a rolled hiking trail. Enjoy the beautiful winter landscape and the fantastic mountain panorama of the Wilder Kaiser. The route passes the Brandstadl summit cross and several alpine pastures before leading back to the Südhangbahn cable car. From there, take the same route back to the gondola lift, which will then take you back down to the valley. The Brandstadl restaurant, located right next to the mountain station, is a great place to stop for a bite to eat.
