Easy winter hike to the Stöcklalm in the farthest Navistal. From the Schranzberg car park (chargeable), the trail (toboggan run) leads through the forest, past the Naviser Hut to the Stöcklalm. Refreshments and overnight accommodation available.
From the starting point at the car park, a wide farm track leads comfortably in several serpentines to the Stöcklalm. The trail is also used as a toboggan run.
There is a bus service from the railway station in Matrei to the Navistal valley. Timetables: www.vvt.at By car, leave the A13 Brenner motorway at Matrei and take the provincial road to the end of the Navistal valley to the Schranzberg car park (toll charge).
