Formerly Sporthaus Schneider, the Schneider Hof is the fully restored home of renowned ski pioneer Hannes Schneider who came to St. Anton from Stuben in 1907. He taught skiing to the guests of St. Anton, developed his Arlberg Technique of ski instruction during the first World War while stationed in Italy and eventually founded the Skischule St. Anton in 1923, the same year the Sporthaus Schneider was built.
