A varied network comprising 130km of cross-country skiing trails awaits wintersports enthusiasts in Pfunds, Nauders and the Kaunertal Valley.
Skiers in Nauders can even enjoy the unusual experience of skiing over the border into another country. The trails in the region take in North Tirol (Austria), South Tirol (Italy) and Engadin (Switzerland). The high altitude also provides excellent training conditions.
Surrounded by the imposing 3000m peaks of the Ötztal Alps, the Kunertal Valley offers more than 25km of cross-country skiing in winter. Some trails even cover all three difficulty levels (easy, intermediate, difficult) in one, for example the 8.4km trail starting in Feichten startet and leading through all the villages in the valley.
