Nature Park Haus Klimmbrücke

Elmen

The Nature Park House of Tirol’s Lechtal Valley possesses a most unique and eye-catching location as it was built into 87-meter-long Klimmbrücke Bridge that spans rushing Lech River. The visitor’s center is a convenient stop for hikers and cyclists just off the Lech River Trail.

Nowhere else in the Alps will you find a visitor’s center in the middle of a bridge! This fabulous location comes with stunning views of the Lech River’s wide riverbed, the last wild river in the Northern Alps. The Nature Park Haus on Klimmbrücke Bridge near Elmen shares the building with the administrative headquarters of Tiroler Lech Nature Park and offers exhibits on local plants, wildlife, and natural habitats. It is also a popular and convenient stop for hikers and cyclists just off the Lech River Trail. While adults visit the exhibition inside, children can run around to their heart’s content in the outdoor playground with climbing wall and a green maze.
