A true enduro series race will take place in St. Johann and Innsbruck as part of the Enduro-One-Series circuit of races this summer. The staged races involve steep climbs and timed descents.
Aggressive corners and perfect berms, Alpine singletrack, technical rock and tree sections, roots and gravel… Tirol is full of substantial steep and technical terrain that makes it a perfect location for one hell of a race. Athletes will be timed in various downhill stages and will have limited time to climb the liaison stages to the next timed stage. Enduro combines elements of all racing disciplines from the physical fitness necessary for cross-country racing, the mental stamina necessary for stage races and the bike-handling skills to navigate technical gravity-fed singletrack. This August and September, Tirol hosts the fourth and fifth stop of the 2020 Kenda Enduro-One-Series circuit of races. This format of mountain bike racing is sure to fuel your adrenaline thirst. Racers will cross the finish line in full view of hundreds of spectators, with a full program of side events scheduled. So grab your dirt loving, mountain biking friends and get on out to St. Johann in the Kitzbühel Alps (August 29 and 30) and Innsbruck Bike Park (September 12 and 13).
