Attracting more than 1,800 participants each year, the legendary annual Ganghofer Race across pristine Leutasch Valley is Tirol’s oldest signature cross country skiing marathon race.
It’s that yearly craving for the excitement, camaraderie and challenge that can only be satisfied by clicking into a pair of cross country skis and lining up at the start line with more than 1,800 other ski pals from around the world. It’s an annual test of personal endurance. And it’s a great way to enjoy winter skiing amongst towering pines and through the pristine serenity of Leutasch Valley at Seefeld Olympia Region. In its 58th year in 2025, the event offers four divisions for adults, including 22K and 42K skating races and 25K and 50K diagonal stride races. This year’s event also plays host to the 2025 Ski Marathon European Championships. Plus, there will be the new 10K Fun Race.
