In late May, the 13th Heart of Noise Festival brings together live performances by extraordinary artists, visual art & audience participation to create a legendary one-of-a-kind festival in Innsbruck.

In its 13th year in 2023, the Heart of Noise Festival revolves around the philosophy of “War is Stupid”. International DJs, action artists, performance collectives and experimental musicians are catering to the truly leftfield end of the spectrum at different venues throughout town – at Treibhaus, at the “Reich für die Insel” Cube in front of the Provincial Theater, at the Music and Art Pavilion of Hofgarten Park, at Thoman Gallery and at Cinematograph and Leokino Cinemas. The festival takes care to present only the most artistically relevant and irreverent acts in the fields of music, digital arts, video and DJ culture, while simultaneously making sure to fill every moment with the opportunities to let loose and party, or sit down at engaging talks, discussions and workshops, or take in exclusive screenings and exhibitions.
