Olympic-level climbing is coming to Innsbruck: IFSC World Cups for Lead, Boulder, Speed and Paraclimbing all will take place in one event for the first time in the history of the Climbing World Cup.
Tyrol’s capital Innsbruck will host IFSC World Cups for Lead, Boulder, Speed and Paraclimbing. For the first time in the history of the Climbing World Cup, all four disciplines of the sport will take place in one event, at the same venue and at the same time. Four international competitions (men's and women's) will take place over five days at the spectacular outdoor facility of the new Innsbruck Climbing Center in June. Three of them (Paraclimbing, Lead, Boulder) as World Cup and Speed as European Cup. As the world’s best climbers will head to the Olympics for the first time in history a few weeks later, this event provides the ultimate test for qualified athletes who will compete in the Olymic games in Tokyo.
