A beloved holiday tradition, this year’s Innsbruck Christkind Parade will continue but will be a virtual parade, held online due to the pandemic. The Christkind will bring interesting stories.
An annual highlight of the holiday season in Tirol’s capital, the Christkind Parade features some 600 local kids parading down Maria-Theresien-Street in Innsbruck dressed up as Christkind, shepherds and angels. In 2020, the parade will continue but will be a virtual parade, held online as of 6:00pm: Final preparations are under way for an all-virtual edition of Innsbruck Christkind Parade this year, as the Christkind and the angels come together to celebrate while remaining physically distant.
