Taking place on December 17, 2023, the annual Christkind Parade, featuring some 500 local kids, is a great event for the whole family—and a wonderful way to get into the Christmas feeling! Watch the “Christkind”, the Christ Child, along with marching bands, shepherds, angels, sheep and more, parade down Maria-Theresien-Street in Innsbruck. The Christkind rides the town’s historic lanes and alleys in a splendid carriage and ends up on the square in front of the Tirol Provincial Theater where “Silent Night” will be performed. The parade begins at 5:00pm.
