Innsbruck puts on an impressive display for summer solstice, lighting up Nordkette Range at night. The ride up in the Nordkette Gondola will leave you breathless as you take in panoramic views.
As visitors make their way from the city center to the mountaintop station at Hafelekar, they can look forward to fire and feasts made up of traditional cuisine. The higher into the mountains they travel, the more spectacular things get. Seegrube and Hafelekar are the spots that are particularly majestic to see the fires lit throughout Inntal Valley as well as on the slopes and peaks of rugged Nordkette Range.
Little ones are treated to a lantern walk on the playground. Plus, there will by storytelling by Nuran Bauschke.
Nordketten Gondolas operate every half hour from 6:00pm. The last ride down from the top station (Hafelekar) is at 11:00pm. The final gondola leaves the main station (Seegrube) half an hour later, at 11:30pm.
