The Ischgl MTB Festival is a 4-day mountain bike celebration that includes a main expo/festival, family fun and a whole lot of rugged singletrack. Undisputed highlight is Iron Bike, Europe’s toughest mountain bike marathon challenge.
Iron Bike, Europe’s toughest mountain bike marathon challenge, takes daredevil mountain bikers to the very essence of mountain biking in scenic Paznaun Valley. While the core of the event and the vibe will remain the same, Ischgl does have some tricks up its sleeve for this year, proudly presenting the 2nd Ischgl MTB Festival, a 4-day mountain bike celebration that will include a main expo/festival, bike demos, great entertainment and a whole lot of rugged singletrack.
The Ischgl MTB Festival is kicked-off August 03, 2017 with the “Ischgl Alpenhaus Trophy”, a nocturnal hill climb on an illuminated track that climbs a nasty 1,000 vertical meters. August 04, 2017, sees the “Ischgl Palio XCC”, where competitive riders will hit the streets of Ischgl bringing the best criterium racing and the biggest street party to the heart of the village. Highlight of the festival is the legendary Ischgl Iron Bike Marathon race on Saturday, where international pros and ambitious amateurs will battle for glory and for a grand cash award.
The “Easy Iron Bike” race for less experienced riders and families takes place on Sunday, the last day of the Festival, along with the “Ischgl Iron Bike Junior Trophy”, a race for aspiring talents aged 5 to 12.
