The annual Market Day is a social gathering filled with soul-nourishing events, live music by the Ischgl brass band and fresh out-of-the-ordinary goods, such as the signature Paznaun Valley Alpine Cheese.
For generations, Paznaun Valley Alpine Cheese has been an all-natural local specialty food that expresses the creamy smoothness of herb-fed milk and the piquant complexity of the area’s Alpine pastures. Since 2007, Paznaun Valley has been one of over 100 designated Austrian “Regions of Culinary Excellence”. On August 26, 2023, the 14th Paznaun Market Day celebrates the valley’s delicious heritage as of 10:30am. The market places vendors and visitors at the Florian Car Park in Ischgl. Dairy farmers, cheesemakers and vendors will be on hand with fresh produce and out-of-the-ordinary goods.
