The 14th Culinary Way of St. James is a unique dining experience that celebrates the awesome beauty of nature and the rich talent of culinary artisans that complement the unique, secluded settings of seven Paznaun Valley mountain huts.
The 1st Culinary Way of St. James was officially kicked-off under the patronage of Eckart Witzigmann in 2008. In 1994, Austrian celebrity chef Eckart Witzigmann received the rare award Chef of the Century from the Gault Millau Guide. In its 14th year in 2023, the Culinary Way of St. James is a unique dining experience that celebrates the awesome beauty of nature and the rich talent of culinary artisans that complement the unique, secluded settings of seven Paznaun Valley mountain huts. The 13th Culinary Way of St. James will be officially kicked-off at 7:00pm on July 09, 2023 with a delightful market at St. Nikolaus cultural center in Ischgl.
Five award-winning chefs and uprising talents from Tirol create delicious contemporary cuisine with a Tirolean accent on local mountain lodges. The celebrity chefs will join hikers on their way to their lodge where they will prepare their dish.
