Culinary Paznaun, formerly known as the Culinary Way of St. James, is in its 15th year in 2024. This unique dining experience celebrates the awesome beauty of nature and the rich talent of culinary artisans.
The 1st Culinary Way of St. James was officially kicked-off under the patronage of Eckart Witzigmann in 2008. In 1994, Austrian celebrity chef Eckart Witzigmann received the rare award Chef of the Century from the Gault Millau Guide. In its 15th year in 2024, the Culinary Paznaun event is a unique dining experience that celebrates the awesome beauty of nature and the rich talent of culinary artisans that complement the unique, secluded settings of seven Paznaun Valley mountain huts. The 15th Culinary Way of St. James will be officially kicked-off on July 05, 2024.
Five award-winning chefs and uprising talents from Tirol create delicious contemporary cuisine with a Tirolean accent on local mountain lodges. The celebrity chefs will join hikers on their way to their lodge where they will prepare their dish.
