This year again, Innsbruck’s amazing “Black Men Church” is pleased to announce its annual season of the Court Church Concert Series featuring the Wilten Boys’ Choir.
The Innsbruck Court Church, also called “Schwarzmanderkirche“ (literally “Black Men Church”) is proud to host the energetic and inspirational Wilten Boys’ Choir in the tenth season of the Court Church Concert Series. The Gothic church is one of Europe’s finest royal court churches. The Wilten Boys’ Choir is one of the most venerable and oldest boys’ choirs in Europe, deeply rooted in tradition. Re-established after World War II, the tradition of the Abbey of Wilten Boys’ Choir dates back to the 13th century. Artistic direction of the Wilten Boys’ Choir has been in the hands of Johannes Stecher since 1991. Concerts commence at 6:30pm.
