Juifenalm in the Lüsensertal Valley is appreciated by winter sports enthusiasts for its toboggan run and extensive ski touring opportunities. It is also a popular day trip destination in summer and impresses visitors with magnificent panoramic views of Zischgeles, Lampsenspitze, Grießkogel and Freihut. Not only do the views entice hikers to make their way up here: Up above the tree line, a pleasant alpine guesthouse awaits with sun terrace and excellent Tirolean cuisine. The “Knödel - dumplings” are highly recommended, as are the alpine specialities of “Graukäse - Grey Cheese” and butter.

Trail description
Around half a kilometre after the houses end in Juifenau, you will find a large metered car park. From there, the route leads initially through pine forests and along a forestry road (doubles as the toboggan run in winter) and up to the Juifenalm in around 2 hours.
Simply turn around and follow the same route back for your return journey.
