See ski resort in the Paznauntal Valley

Ski resort closed

With its wide range of slopes ideal for beginners, the ski resort of See in the Paznaun Valley is perfect for families with children and all those just finding their feet on snow. There is also plenty to keep intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders entertained.

See in the Paznaun Valley is a place where beginners and cruisers will feel right at home. Though it has a range of slopes, from easy to expert, it is mainly dedicated to novices and families with children. This family-friendly approach is reflected in the large practice areas and childcare facilities on offer. The resort tops out at 2,450 metres and provides a quieter, less hectic alternative to the neighbouring resort of Ischgl.

In the winter of 2014/15 a new eight-man gondola was opened. It serves the Versingalm area, which has 8km of pistes and plenty of off-piste freeriding. For children there is a Kids' Club, while snowboarders and freestylers can hone their skills in the funpark with its huge 15m airbag providing a soft landing. Experts will enjoy the  "Adrenaline" black ski route with gradients of up to 75%.

One of the big highlights in winter is nighttime skiing. As the sun goes down, things hot up on the slopes with the Fire and Ice Show featuring spectacular tricks, blazing torches and a huge firework display. There is also a DJ night at the panorama restaurant at the middle station of the cable car.
