Equipment

Family-friendly cycling or MTB route also passable with regular bikes, with a good surface (gravel, asphalt, and comparable ground). The gentle ascents do not require special fitness or riding skills. The focus is on enjoyable cycling.

Appropriate equipment such as breathable clothing and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, bike helmet, gloves, sunglasses, and a GPS device or maps. For bike rides without refreshment stops, sufficient provisions are necessary.

Description

The comfortable route starts from the parking lot at the Ochsengartenbahn. First, you follow the state road downhill again until a forest road branches off to the right. Then you follow this steadily uphill until you reach the beautiful and unique Amberger See | Brandsee. It invites you to linger.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Then you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination by public transport or local taxi companies!
