Beautiful bike tour with picturesque views of the Inn Valley from the Ropferstub’m in Buchen.
Starting at the last paid car park at Salzbach in the Gaistal valley, where there is also a Kneipp facility, the route initially climbs towards the Pasture Paradise Gaistal Valley. Keep left, cross the Leutascher Ache river and follow the gravel road uphill for the first kilometre. After the climb, take the first turn on the left and continue at a more leisurely pace through the Bichlwald forest, keeping left. In the Obern district, turn right onto the paved main road and continue to Moos. Just before the Zottlhof, the bike route turns right back into the forest and follows a wide gravel track on a more challenging climb through Katzenloch. At the Zottlhof, Restaurant Ahorn is an inviting place to take a break and enjoy regional dishes.
In Buchen, the route reaches the main road again. Cross the road and follow the paved local road for the final 300 metres to the Ropferstub’m. Alongside food and drinks, you will also find the Tyrolean Mountain Farming Museum and another Kneipp facility. From there, return to the Salzbach car park along the same route.
Take the bus to Leutasch and get off at the 'Gaistal/Salzbach' bus stop.

Guest Card = Travel Card: The guest card is valid during your stay as a ticket for all public bus connections in the region (up to Telfs and Mittenwald). In addition, the train ride between Seefeld and Scharnitz and the Wildmoosbus are also included. However, a separate ticket for bicycle transportation on the train must be purchased at the ticket counter of the Seefeld information & mobility center or online.
