Whether breathless beginner or well-trained mountain athlete: in the Tannheimer Tal everyone gets their money's worth, who want to move in the fresh air and explore the surrounding mountains on foot. All active people, from hobbyists to professionals, have the daily choice: the largest network of paths in Tyrol offers 26 marked routes, extending over a total of 186 kilometers. There are beginner loops as well as challenging mountain runs. And so all guests know which path matches their condition and requirements, a specially developed map and small signs inform about the altitude profile, difficulty level and length of the route - the Running and Nordic Walking map.
Along meadows, over green alpine pastures, by sparkling mountain lakes... Walking and running in the Tannheimer Tal is not only the best training for the body, but above all balm for the soul. The starting points for all movement enthusiasts are located in the six villages of Tannheim, Grän-Haldensee, Nesselwängle-Haller, Zöblen, Schattwald and Jungholz.
From the car park in Schattwald head west, at the first opportunity turn right and follow the village road to the church. From here continue west, before the Kappl district turn right and go up the ascending path. Keep east at Wiesler Berg and always go straight at the upcoming junctions until you reach Zugspitzblick. After descending over the dump through Zöblen, at the west car park turn right westward through the Fricken district to the church and then back to the starting point.
Tip:The view along the entire route is wonderful
