Ascent with the Eggalmbahn in Tux-Lanersbach to the mountain station at 2,000 m. From there, walk a short distance along the edge of the piste until you reach winter hiking trail no. 39. This leads after a while past the snack station Lattenalm and then on to the district Gemais. There the hiking trail no. 21 branches off across from the house "Sonnrain" (house no. 241) and leads back to the valley station of the Eggalm Bahnen to Tux-Lanersbach.
