Description

On the road to Erpfendorf, a few hundred meters past the turnoff to the hamlet of Loferberg (postal bus stop), this long-distance hiking trail branches off to the left. Mostly through the forest, past the Weißensteinalm and Neualm, we reach the alpine pastures of the Eggenalm with the Straubinger Haus. From here, it’s a short and easy hike to the Fellhorn. Descend to Reit im Winkl via the Hindenburghütte (staffed) and the village of Blindau. Bus service to Kössen.
