Description

The hike to the Lampsenspitze begins in the small village of Praxmar, where the starting point is located directly at the car park or at the bus stop ‘Praxmar Wendetelle’. From there, the trail leads quickly uphill past mountain huts and wide meadows.

The trail climbs steadily and runs over the Schönbichl up to the Satteljoch at 2,737 metres. From here, keep to the right and follow trail no. 144a towards the summit. This last section is easy to walk on and not particularly difficult.

At the summit of the Lampsenspitze (2,875 m), a wide panoramic view of the Sellrain Valley and the surrounding mountains awaits. The descent follows the same route back down.

For a cosy end to the tour, stop off at the Alpengasthof Praxmar.
