Description

The starting point is the Tuxer Landesstraße. There are several options for the ascent:

Via the road to Oberjuns at Haus Tomann (house no. 545):
The road branches off directly from the Tuxer Landesstraße, which leads from the last farms ‘Zarge’ as a gravel path to the Stoankasern snack station.

From the Tuxer Mühle via the ‘Zarge’ in Oberjuns:
The classic mountain route starts at the Tuxer Mühle (trail no. 21) to the ‘Zarge’ farms in Oberjuns. Here, a forest trail (also AV trail 322) leads through the beautiful high valley up to the mountain cheese dairy. Alternatively, you can take the old mountain path, which branches off to the right at the barrier after the ‘Zarge’. This path initially crosses the wide gravel road twice. Then it goes uphill on this road.
