Description

Tux-Vorderlanersbach village center - At the valley station of the Rastkogel cable car, the footpath branches off through the forest uphill to the hamlet of Gemais (old farm settlement). Follow the asphalt access road for a bit until footpath no. 21 crosses the road and leads between the chalets Alpenjuwel (no. 242) and Haus Sonnrain (no. 241) to the Rosenkranzkapelle chapel. Afterwards, the AV trail no. 321 leads through the Pfisterwald and over the Voglaue into the AV trail no. 315 to the Geiselhöfe (Geislerhof mountain inn). The asphalt road runs downhill from the Geislerhof and then over the bridge again in a few hairpin bends to the Geiselalm. Above the alpine pasture buildings, the AV path no. 315 leads to the Geiseljoch.

Variant Hobalm: On the gravel path trail no. 47 and 49 through alpine pastures ascending to the Geiseljoch.
