Description

After taking the Rifflseebahn cable car up, the route follows the Rifflsee Loop Trail toward the far end of the lake, where it merges with the Offenbacher Höhenweg. After about an hour’s walk, a well-marked trail branches off to the left toward Plodersee.

The descent follows the marked trail to the Fuldaer Höhenweg. From there, the route heads toward the Taschach Alm and then back to Mandarfen, the starting point.

    The “Mandarfen Rifflsee” bus stop is located right next to the Rifflseebahn valley station. The starting point of the hike is easily accessible via the Rifflseebahn.
