Description

The starting point is the parking lot of the former Sonnwendjochbahn in Kramsach, at the Sport Shop & Rental "Sport Ossi". From here, you walk a short distance straight ahead along the Brandenberger Ache. Soon the path turns right over a small bridge and takes you directly to the Pilgrimage Basilica Mariathal, one of the spiritual power places in the Alpbachtal holiday region. A short break is worthwhile here – either on a bench in front of the church or in the cozy Gasthaus Mariathal directly opposite.

Refreshed, continue to the Kramsach Sculpture Park, a special open-air art space. In the middle of nature, you will find oversized art objects – created by the Kramsach artist Alois Schild. The works invite you to pause and marvel. Art right in the landscape? This works wonderfully here.

Then the path leads you past the church through the Mariatal district. After a few minutes, you cross the Brandenberger Ache again, this time over a larger bridge, and walk back over Wittberg to the starting point.
