Description

From the top station of the Karwendel cable car (1,500m), follow the signposts to the Bärenbadalm (1,457m). Continue along the forest path and follow the signposts to the Stanser Joch until you arrive at the Weißenbachsattel (1,695m). From here, walk to the Blasermahdlegg and continue in a southerly direction to the ridge. Turn right onto the hiking trail and follow the path as it climbs steeply to the plateau of the Ochsenkopf (2,148m). Cross the ridge in a westerly direction, walk past the Gamskarspitze and continue along a narrow trail (little elevation gain) past the Kaserjoch to the Nauderer Kar on the Rappenspitze (2,233m). The descent to the Nauderer Kar is via the ascent route. Keep left at the junction and descend via the varied steep trail to the Dristlalm. Now walk between the Hirschenkopf to the left and the Dristenkopf to the right until just above the Falzthurnalm. Continue along trail no. 201 to the Gramai Alm (1,263m, overnight stay).
