From the valley station of the Karwendel cable car (952m), follow the signposts to "Rodlhütte/Tristenautal". From the Rodlhütte, follow the tunnel path up to the top station of the Karwendel cable car on the Zwölferkopf (1,500m). Alternatively, you can take the Karwendel cable car up to the Zwölferkopf.
