With majestic views from the Hohe Salve mountain, lots of easy pistes and a family-friendly infrastructure, this region is ideal for parents with children. It offers direct access to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, one of the largest piste networks in Tirol.
The sunny Hohe Salve resort is one of the best places from which to access the huge SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, a network of interconnected ski areas in the east of Tirol. Hohe Salve has many easy pistes, heated chairlifts and the Kids Club Salvenaland Hopfgarten with a beginners' area, two conveyor-belt lifts and childcare services for children up to three years of age. The qualified instructors at the Skischule Alpin, a ski school with its own area for beginners away from the busy slopes, have all the skills and experience to teach children to ski in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Families can now also use the ski storage facilities at the bottom of the lifts in Hopfgarten.
How about a fun toboggan ride down from the Haagalm hut in Hopfgarten? Or a visit to the Wörgler Wasserwelt Wave leisure centre with the world's first double loop-the-loop water slide?
Special family deals. Visitors with children can benefit from special deals and discounts, such as a lift pass for families with young children which enables parents to share a lift pass between them. During the "Familienskiwochen" weeks children up to 15 years of age ski for free.
