The Schwimmbad Mieders is an absolute must for all visitors to the Stubaital Valley in summer. Built in 1928, it is the oldest swimming pool in the valley – indeed it is one of the oldest swimming facilities in the whole of Tirol.
The pool was thoroughly renovated in 2000, yet has still kept its charm and its original nickname: “s’Miederer Badl”. The wide wooden recliners, terrace and beautiful sunbathing lawn are ideal places to relax and unwind. Delicious ice cream, snacks and drinks can be bought from the café. The swimming area also includes two solar-heated pools, of which one is a children’s pool. The Schwimmbad Mieders does not have many swings, slides and sporting facilities, but that is exactly what makes it so special – it has stayed true to its origins.
