Running through the Lechtal Valley’s backcountry along the banks of the last pristine river cannot be beat! What endears this event is the charming surroundings of the Nature Park and the Lech River.
In its sixth year, the Lechtal Nature Park Run offers the remarkable number of nine different events. The longest is the “Adventure Trail Run” through sceneries of awesome natural beauty. The 23-kilometer course has an elevation gain and loss of 939 meters. Of course, as every year, there are shorter distances such as the 12.5K main run, the 7.5K Nordic Walking & Exploration Run and the 1.25K Kids Run – all on a primarily flat course along the banks of the Lech River. No matter which one you go with, all offer the challenge, diversity, and the views that come from a Nature Park race! All proceeds benefit families in need of Außerfern Region and all runs start from the soccer field in Elmen.
The award-giving ceremony is scheduled for 5:00pm, followed by a grand charity concert, beginning at about 7:30pm.
