For the eighth time, the Open Faces Freeride Contest Tour will hit Alpbachtal Valley. It is the perfect destination for upcoming talents and novices to the tour—and a great way to get to know the professional world of freeriding.
In the 2023-2024 winter season, the Open Faces Freeride Contest will stop at Alpbach Valley in Tirol Unterland Region for the eighth time in a row from February 02 to 04, 2024. This tour stop plays host to a <a href="https://www.open-faces.com/contests/fwt-qualifier1-alpbachtal-2024/venue" target="_blank">1* Freeride World Qualifier Contest</a> and to a <a href="https://www.open-faces.com/contests/fwt-junior2-alpbachtal-2024/venue" target="_blank">2* Junior Qualifier Contest</a>. Alpbachtal is the ideal venue for novices to the tour and for upcoming talents. Both contests begin at 10:00am near Horn Lift 2.000 in Inneralpbach. The award-giving ceremony is scheduled for 3:00pm. Spectators can access the event via Pöglbahn Gondola from Inneralpbach.</p>
