Idyllically tucked away in a mountain hollow, the Laponesalm is a hut in the upper Gschnitztal Valley combining wonderful views with healthy and hearty local food. Alpine pastures and log cabins are scattered throughout the 320 hectares of alpine grazing area surrounding the hut. Laponesalm, which is a popular day trip destination for families, is easy to access via a path suitable for pushchairs.

The ascent begins at the large car park behind the Gasthof Feuerstein and continues along the banks of the Gschnitzbach river.

Simply turn around and follow the same route back for your return journey.
