Description

A trailer-friendly tour for active families leading to Reitherjoch Alm – including a refreshment stop and the bee educational trail as a key highlight. This is a classic uphill tour: no steep sections, but a continuous ascent on the way up.

One experience stop along the route:
Reith Bee Nature Trail14 information boards provide insights into the life of honey bees and other beneficial insects. At the “bee hotel,” a glass window allows visitors to observe activity inside the hive and learn more about the importance of bees for nature.

You turn left before the Reith information office and follow the main road to the underpass. Just before it, you turn right onto a forest road that runs parallel to the railway tracks into the forest. This approx. 3 km stretch leads towards Seefeld.

Along the route, you pass the Reith Bee Nature Trail with its information boards and the bee hotel.

At the end of the gravel path, you reach an asphalt road which you cross, then turn right into Reither Jochweg. Following the gravel road uphill, you reach Reitherjoch Alm after about one hour of cycling. There, the host family serves traditional Tyrolean dishes and homemade cakes.

The return follows the same route back to the starting point.
