Through the beautiful landscape, the demanding route runs through the Achtal valley up to the mountain. At the top, the Hochalphütte serves regional delicacies along with a unique Alpine panorama. Where skiers make the slopes unsafe in winter, bikers ride down the gravel paths back to the valley in summer (caution: partly steep sections that are technically challenging and may require walking). Below the Breitenbergbahn track, switchbacks wind down to the starting point of the circular route.Safety guidelines:

• Always ride at a controlled speed and with half visibility, especially around curves, as obstacles can appear at any time!


• Be considerate of hikers and pedestrians and only overtake at walking speed!


• Respect the difficulty level of the route and accurately assess your experience and skills as a biker! Protect your head with a helmet and check your equipment before every bike ride (brakes, bell, light)!


• Adhere to barriers and accept that this path is primarily used for agricultural and forestry purposes! Close the pasture gates!


• Respect nature and wildlife, do not leave the marked route, avoid riding off the open paths, and finish your bike tour before dusk. Do not leave any waste behind!
