Over the Älpele to the valley’s most beautiful flower mountain
From the Sonnalmbahn car park, ascend slightly to Heimatmuseum, stay left, turn right to Gröben and continue straight on the trail (No. 612 + 103). Follow the stream through the Älpelestal to the crossroads, then turn right (No. 103). Continue over the Joch along the Höniggrat to the summit (2,034 m). Descend over serpentines to Sattelkopf, from there turn right to the Rastkopfhütte (not open). Descent via the wide gravel path (No. 18) to Berwang. This tour is only recommended in dry weather (slippery when wet).
