Description

The mountain tour starts at the car parking next to the community center (Zunfthaus) in Bichlbach. Behind the guild house the path leads under the street and under the railway, over the small brook bridge to the Panoramaweg. Immediately after the bridge begins the path, which climbs steeply on serpentine trails and leads to the Alpenrosensteig and the Kohlbergspitze. After approx. 2 hours ascent you will reach the Hochkar Alpeile, where the red-white signed Alpenrosensteig branches off to the east and always runs along or above the tree line.
The trail leads now high above the villages Bichlbach, Wengle and Lähn through the most beautiful alpine area. Just before the Grünes Ups follow the sign Bichlbacher Alm / Lähn and follow the path downhill to the Bichlbacher Alm and further down to Lähn.
By train or by bus back to the starting point Bichlbach.
